A Little About Us
Arlan Lapp, president of CountryWide Reclaimed, Inc. has been in the business of skillfully dismantling barns since 2008. In 2013, he was joined by his brother Jonathan Lapp in establishing CountryWide Reclaimed, Inc. From their Petersburg, PA location, the Lapps, along with an experienced crew of employees, service a multi-state area including Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia.
The Lapps value the historical significance and worth of 19th century barns, and their dismantling process and procedures reflects that appreciation. Careful dismantling retains the value of the barn materials and provides their customers with top value for their structure. Most reclaimed lumber and timber is “up cycled” into flooring material, mill work, and structural beams, thus contributing to environmental stewardship and offsetting the need to
harvest additional forest.
CountryWide Reclaimed, Inc. works with barn owners and their families to determine how they can realistically retain certain elements or materials to serve as memories of their family heritage.
